Bronze 11 x 21 x 16 Inches. Rear cover removed, doors open, passenger step folds down, brake works, and wheels turn. Strong box in foreground.
The original sculpture for this stagecoach was made from wood and metal. The entire sculpture was then taken apart to make molds of each part of the stagecoach. Over 200 individual wax duplicates were made from the molds. Each wax copy was the source for the bronze castings that then had to be fit together and welded to complete the stagecoach.
